Awesome training opportunity for grant writers

We're sponsoring a free seminar for area grant writers from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Speaker Kief Schladweiler, Coordinator of Cooperating Collections with the Foundation Center, will lead the session in the Gleeson Room at The Wilbur Aalfs (Main) Library, 529 Pierce Street. Registration is required.

His presentation will include a demonstration of the Foundation Directory Online, the Foundation Center’s searchable database providing information on more than 91,000 grantmakers and more than a million grant records, and will provide an overview of their newest website, GrantSpace.org, specifically designed to meet the needs of grantseekers. He will offer tips on how best to identify funding sources for your organization, highlighting the electronic and print resources available for your free use at the Sioux City Public Library, a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center.
