Making reading fun
In October the Library sponsored 34 programs for children, making ready fun for 701 children and adults. That's more than one per day! Half of those were storytimes outside the Library buildings at childcare centers and classrooms.
To instill a love of books and reading in the very young, Library staff offer two public storytimes each week. Through regular participation, children improve listening comprehension and develop social skills while building a foundation for reading.
Our Family Storytime is a shared experience for children not yet in school and their parent/grandparent. Please join us:
