Interlibrary Loan/Suggest a Title

Can’t find something in our catalog?

If you have a full-service Sioux City Public Library card in good standing (no fees on Library account at or above $5), we can try to borrow the item from another library through interlibrary loan or consider purchasing the item for our collection.

If what you’re looking for is:

• Published more than a year ago
• Self-published (not by a local author or on a local subject)
• Out of print
• An article in a publication that we do not own

Please note, many of the films/shows featured on streaming services are not being released on DVD. If they are released on disc, it can take six months to a year for it to be available for purchase. The Library is only able to purchase DVDs with Region 1 format, meaning they are able to be played on DVD players in the United States.

We reserve the right to fill your request with the service that best meets the needs of the library. If you do not qualify for a full-service card, please check with your home library for access to these services.
