In addition to thousands of amazing books and resources that are FREE to Sioux City residents, patrons can look forward to a special kickoff event, lots of story times, reading to canine companions, family movie Fridays, visitors from the Dorothy Pecaut Nature center, a teen writing club, toddler dance party, LEGO events and much more!

Sign up for our Kids & Families newsletter at siouxcitylibrary.org/kidsevents for all the details on the Summer Reading Program at the Library.

But wait, there’s MORE – the Library will also have a Summer Reading Program for Adults!  Adults can earn badges for doing activities like reading, listening to an audiobook, or visiting a Library location. Watch the Library’s Facebook page or emails from the Library for details on this program and info how you can win just for enjoying a book on the beach.
