Ancestry Genealogy Search (Temporary Access from Home)

Discover your family’s history for free with the library version of Ancestry.com. Find U.S. Federal Census records, passenger lists, birth, death, marriage and military records and much more. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, ProQuest is temporarily allowing remote use of their Ancestry Library Edition database to better serve patrons. You will need your full-access library card number and PIN (month and day of the card holder’s birthdate – MMDD) to access Ancestry from home.

The First Fifty Pages Podcast

You no longer have to wait until your next visit to take care of library fees. You can now quickly and easily pay library fines by credit card from any internet-connected device using your Sioux City Public Library card number and four-digit PIN (birth month and day) to sign in.
