What is Kanopy? Kanopy is an app for your smart devices & TVs. Kanopy allows Library users to view movies, films,  courses and documentaries for FREE. No ads or payments. Full-access Sioux City Public Library cardholders may view up to 5 films a month on Kanopy! How do I get Kanopy? Download the Kanopy app (Google Apps, Apple App Store), select "Get Started" and enter your library: Sioux City Public Library. Enter your Library card # and PIN (your pin is your 2-digit month then day of your birthday in MMDD format, unless you have changed it.) Create a Kanopy

Summer Reading At the Sioux City Public Library!

In addition to thousands of amazing books and resources that are FREE to Sioux City residents, patrons can look forward to a special kickoff event, lots of story times, reading to canine companions, family movie Fridays, visitors from the Dorothy Pecaut Nature center, a teen writing club, toddler dance party, LEGO events and much more! Thank You Book Sale Volunteers!

The Friends of the Sioux City Public Library Book Lovers Book Sale concluded on April 16 and was the largest book sale the Friends of the Sioux City Public Library has held. An estimated 100,000 volumes in 2,500+ very heavy boxes amassed from 3 years of donations were sorted, moved, and organized by our volunteers. This was a huge undertaking, but the Sioux City area community rose to the occasion.
