April 7th Movie: This 1971 film (Rated R) is set in 1951, and tells the story of a group of high schoolers who are coming of age in a bleak, isolated, atrophied North Texas town that is slowly dying, both culturally and economically.

Summer Internship Opportunity at the Sioux City Public Library!

The Sioux City Public Library is seeking an energetic person with a passion for literacy and a desire to share their enthusiasm for reading with young people in our community to serve in the Library's Youth Services Department as a Student Intern. The internship will run from approximately May 27th through August 1st, 2025. *Must be at least 16 years old to apply.

Baby Storytime on March 8

For adult parents/caregivers and babies ages 0-12 months. Join us for a 20-minute early literacy experience just for the little ones! Babies learn and engage with rhymes, songs, books, and bounces. After Storytime, enjoy play and social time. Comfy clothes suggested. Feel free to bring a blanket for you and baby to sit on the floor together. Chairs are also available. Free parking on weekends.
