Library Open House on October 5!

The Library is hosting an OPEN HOUSE on Saturday, October 5 from 10am – 1pm at the Aalfs Downtown Library (529 Pierce Street).

Drop-in to learn and see all the Library has to offer while enjoying a fun experience for the whole family!

Take part in the many free and fun activities for patrons of all ages:

• Create your own button, bookmark, bird feeder, or all three!
• Explore the Library with a scavenger hunt
• Follow a story through the Library on the Book Walk
• Take part in stories and songs during First Saturday Family Storytime at 11am
• Enjoy a guided look at our Local History collection with tours every 30 min
• Take a photo with a book you love at our Photo Op
• Experiment with our Bee Bots and STEM cart
• Get help with setting up eResources on your smart device so you can check out books, music, and movies anytime!
• Sign up for a Library card
• Try our new 3 to Go service, or get book recommendations from staff
• Sign your pre-k child up for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
• And of course, be sure to check out something to take home.

This event is FREE and open to everyone! Parking downtown is free on weekends.
