Sioux City True Crime: 1930s – A Deadly Decade on October 15
Sarah Enright, Local History Librarian Specialist, and a true crime fan herself, uses the library's resources, such as archived newspaper clippings, microfilm, databases, and web resources, to construct detailed narratives of local cases. This session will spotlight one homicide case from each year of the 1930s.
Baby Storytime on October 12
For adult parents/caregivers and babies ages 0-12 months. Join us for a 20-minute early literacy experience just for the little ones! Babies learn and engage with rhymes, songs, books, and bounces. After Storytime, enjoy play and social time. Comfy clothes suggested. Feel free to bring a blanket for you and baby to sit on the floor together. Chairs are also available. Free parking on weekends.
Monthly Movie Matinee on October 7 at Morningside Branch Library
Starting in October, the Sioux City Public Library will host a monthly film screening for adults at 1pm on the first Monday of the month at the Morningside Branch Library.
1st Saturday Family Storytime: Barnyard Jamboree on October 5
Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to Library Storytime! Join us on Satuday, October 5 at 11 am for some fun on the farm as we share stories, songs and activities featuring our favorite barnyard friends!
